NO TO CRUEL COSMETICS IN EUROPE
The European Union was due to be free of all new animal tested cosmetics by 2013. But officials are now deciding whether to extend this deadline.
This could mean up to 10 more years in which thousands of rabbits, guinea pigs, mice and rats could be injected, gassed, force-fed and killed worldwide for cosmetics products sold in the UK and EU. The BUAV is fighting this from happening.
There has been a fantastic response in signing the petition from all the staff at MRP, who all feel that animal testing for cosmetics is an unnecessary practice.
